Hi, I'm Alexandra.
I've been rescuing plants since I was five.
My grandfather would pull dandelions from the garden and toss them away. I couldn't bear it — so I'd sneak back, dig them out, and replant them in little hidden corners. Just because.
That feeling never really left me.
Decades later, on an ordinary evening, I looked at my Monstera and quietly realised: her name was Mini. Not a decision — just a knowing. After that I started checking in on her like you check in on a friend. How is she? Lonely? Getting enough light?
Turns out, millions of people do the same thing. They name their plants, talk to them, worry about them. Quietly, without making a fuss.
So I built Pet the Plant. For all of us.
